ViziLite®Plus is an advanced diagnostic tool used for comprehensive oral screening. It identifies soft tissue abnormalities in the mouth and is particularly important for patients at an increased risk of developing oral cancer.
ViziLite®Plus utilizes a special rinse in conjunction with advanced laser dentistry technology. When a patient’s mouth has been treated with the rinse, a special laser light is applied. Healthy tissue will appear dark while abnormal tissue will appear white. The ViziLite®Plus exam is fast and painless, and is performed after a regular visual examination.
